Monoblock is a 2D and 3D canvas for human-centered systems — a bank branch, an airport, a shop, a ride. Place people, things and rules, then step into a character and live the system before anyone builds it.
Every block on the board can work: it has a body, state, actions and rules. When you want to know how the system feels, you don't press play — you step inside a character and try it.
There is no play button. Only definitions. Nothing happens by itself: things change only when someone acts — you inside a character, or a machine reacting to it. The world is deterministic, so every outcome can be explained and replayed.
Weight, volume, hands, energy. Physics is enforced by the world, not by the action: nobody lifts a cash machine just because someone wrote "grab".
Each character is unique — its own synthetic iris and fingerprint, its own helmet. You choose from the same options a human, a script or an AI would see.
Your Backyard holds your trees (folders) and their houses (files). It's a space too: walk up to a tree and go in.
Service and product designers — and the teams they work with — use blueprints that don't run and screens with no world behind them. Problems show up at implementation. With Monoblock you build the branch, put a customer in it, step in, try to withdraw cash and find what breaks.
The world you define is model, prototype and specification at once: entities, the actions they offer, the conditions and effects — readable by people, by engineers and by AI.
Open it and use it, offline, on Android, iOS and the web. A sync server is optional — only for collaborating, sharing and publishing.
Monoblock is being built with Claude Code — the simulation kernel, the physics and energy rules, identity, sync and the multiplatform interface. Inside the product, AI never writes the world directly.
We're opening Monoblock to a few service and product design teams first. Tell us what you're designing.
